Tenby House is in a perfect location for exploring the attractions and beaches this beautiful county has to offer.   The Hotel is situated in the centre of Tenby and is within walking distance of Tenby Train Station.  Good link roads join Tenby to Carmarthen which is the hub for traffic heading east.

Nowadays road links are excellent with the Midlands only 3 hours distant and London just 4 hours away. The M4 gives way to a dual carriageway (A48/A40) just east of Carmarthen which brings you into the heart of Pembrokeshire. Good trunk roads through North an Mid Wales provide a more picturesque route.

A rail link connects with Haverfordwest, Milford Haven and Fishguard with branch lines to Tenby and Pembroke Dock.

The Fishguard/Rosslare ferry provides the shortest sea route to Ireland (99 minutes) aboard the fast ferry. Alternative Irish Ferries' newly-fitted ferry crosses daily daily between Pembroke Dock and Rosslare (4 hours).

All cross-channel ports have good road links to the M4 and we are noticing a marked increase in the number of European holidaymakers finding their way to Pembrokeshire.

Haverfordwest boasts its own small airport at Withybush for travellers in small private aircraft. Cardiff International Airport is a one and a half hour drive or train journey and offers flights from most European countries.
